Open prep is in full swing so GET READY!

Metconners will be doing The Open workouts whether or not they choose to actually compete, so we’ll be ready regardless.

Loads of toes to bar, double unders, thrusters, and pull-ups galore. Get ready baby cause its coming!

For our strength we’ll be getting after week 6 of 8 in our Overhead Squat cycle, getting after some heavy sets of 3’s - still hammering home technique and stability.

For the WOW, nothing better than a twist on a classic benchmark Annie - a more gymnast suped-up version called 'Annie-Up' coming on Monday:

Descending rep scheme on the double unders and sit ups, but ascending rep scheme on the ring muscle ups. This one will definitely test the grip strength, lungs and core strength for sure! If anyone wants a real challenge - throw some GHD’s into the mix and you’ve got yourself a killer workout!
