THIS WEEK AT THE GYM: METCON



Closing out the final week of March, and paying homage to Women’s History Month, METCON has a treat in store ahead.

Not only a great week of fitness, but a great reminder to show some serious love and appreciation for all the awesome Women in our lives. Each day this week will bee bringing in a named Girls Workout, Benchmark or Hero after some prominent or influential ladies in our space.

For our Strength, we’re hitting week #5/8 of in our Olympic Cycle, getting after some Mod-Heavy Squat Snatches, Split Jerks, and Clean Complexes.

Very challenging to isolate only one workout to shine a spotlight on, but if I had to choose only one for the WOW, don’t miss Wednesday's Benchmark INGRID:

3 Power Snatches (135/95)
3 Burpees Over Bar
(Score is Time)

Simplicity at its finest, but what a BURNER! 30 moderate snatches and 30 burpees over the bar, but broken up into 10 sets of 3, this keeps that intensity HIGH. This is a sprint from start to finish, riding that redline as close as we can!
