THIS WEEK AT THE GYM: NCX

THIS WEEK AT THE GYM: NCX

NCX’ers have found their groove for sure!

It's week 4 of 9 for our current strength cycle...almost half way!

The tempo’s in the front squat, deadlift and bench press have been challenging, yet rewarding at the same time.

The tempos this week are a little bit quicker, so athletes should look to add a bit more weight to the bar.

Don’t forget about our other focus of this cycle - 'the pull-up' - strict and kipping, and even both at the same time!

For the WOW, don’t miss Wednesday’s new Benchmark “Cowabunga”

EVERY 3:00 x 5 SETS
10 Push Press (115/75)
15 Push-ups
20 Box Jump Overs (20)
-No Additional Rest b/t Sets-
(Score is Each Set for Time)

Shoulder and Tricep pump in store for anyone getting after this fun one!

Barbell should be light enough to keep the 10 push press unbroken, but still challenging a weight that number 10 is an effort.

Plan to break up the pushups into manageable sets before you’re forced to break them, and move well - always!

Cowabunga dude!
